I don't watch the news. But since restrictions came down a couple of weeks ago due to the Covid-19 outbreak, I can count on one hand the number of minutes I've given the news. Ten seconds here, 30 there, 20 another time. I hear all I need to know in those moments.
I am doing my best to look for the good in all of this. It's hard to hear about those who are sick and dying of this pandemic outbreak, as it is any other thing that takes a precious life. It goes without saying that social distancing is the most trying on all of us.
But some of the good has been neighbors looking in on neighbors, running errands for each other, old acquaintances renewing and others mending. The government doing their best to curb the spread and fill in economic gaps, and the entertainment industry has taken to some at-home concerts to benefit those most in need.
America truly is blessed and beautiful from the inside out, offering aid to other countries and doing her best to learn from other countries as well. Globalism has its ups and downs, but in this age, its good to see reports from all over the world of humanity at its best. And when something unsavory comes on, I can switch the channel or do something more productive with my precious time.
Here's to you and your family, and may you stay well and healthy during this time. Maybe we will all discover some unknown talents during these days.
Thank you for stopping by Coffee At My Table!
